Family photography is an investment, you aren't just investing in photos, you're investing in memories. Timeless photos that capture you and your loved ones in that one moment of time, a moment that will never come again. There is no wrong time to book your yearly family photos! Family photography can be shot year round. Sunset is my absolute favourite time of day to shoot, the lighting is perfect and you get a beautiful golden glow and if you are super lucky the sky comes out to put on a majestic show. 

I photograph families on location. The location of the shoot is your choice and I am happy to discuss this with you! Family sessions cover immediate family only, if you want an extended family shoot, please inform me when you're booking.

Some of the best images I capture are the “in-between” or "out-take" shots, the shots you least expect! So remember to have a little fun, be yourself and let your personality and family bond shine! I am a very silly and goofy, I will use silly remarks and prompts to get smiling faces and natural laughs! Feel free to be silly and suggest things to say. My aim during your shoot is to capture genuine smiles and your family dynamic. I will demonstrate and assist with posing - sometimes this leads me to touching you, tapping legs, shoulders or chins to help position as well as moving hands if needed. if you are uncomfortable with this, let me know!

Don’t know what to wear? Don’t stress! Most outfits works if you colour co-ordinate. Personal favourites - jeans, khaki coloured pants, white, black, or solid coloured shirts, floral prints, sundresses and bare feet. Large, busy prints, checkered patterns & geometric designs don’t photograph well so try to avoid those if possible. If you are struggling, just message me! We can discuss outfits and colours that work, send all the potential outfit photos I am more then happy to help.

My Family package includes a full online gallery of high resolution edited images. Additional "in-depth" edits (extreme blemish removal, head swaps, extreme background changes) can be purchased for $10 per image. All albums and images are delivered via an online gallery and are downloadable high resolution digital files.
