Birth photography is a very special way to document and capture this special time for your growing family. It frees up Dad, Grandma or the friend who is there for moral support and allows the birthing team to be there to fully assist you while the photographer (me) acts like a fly on the wall capturing your bundle-of-joys journey earthside.

Birth Photography has more of a photojournalistic approach. Unposed, Raw and REAL! It captures that monumental fraction of a second; the first breath, the first cry, that first gaze and the precious first cuddle. These photos are essential to have and treasure and look back upon when the days come and go and the memories fade. A baby is only born once. You only get one chance at capturing those moments.

You deserve to celebrate this time, let me immortalise the magical journey that is your babe being brought into your world and make an unforgettable experience truly something you shall NEVER forget… and if you do forget, don’t worry, you got it captured! Inclusions: I will be on call from 37 weeks. I ensure I am ready to go from the first message but wont start documenting labour until you hit the 'active' stage. I will be there to capture your labour, birth and those golden hours after birth - first cuddles, first feeds and measurements. My birthing package also covers first meets for those special family members (older kiddos, mum, favourite aunt) - if you gave birth outside of "visiting hours" I will come back to capture that. I will send a couple of "sneak peak" images in the first 24 hours for your announcement.

These special sessions are for families who want to document the first hours of their newborns life. The sessions are held within the first 24-48 hours after birth, they can be held within the hospital or in your own home. These lifestyle sessions are perfect for remembering the first days of your new bundle's life and capturing all those precious little details!
